This policy explains how we charge for lessons, how to pay (including M-Pesa), and when refunds or credits apply. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Fees
Lessons are charged per term. A term is a fixed block of 10 lessons. The per-session fee and the term total are shown on our website and confirmed on your invoice before you pay. Fees may differ by instrument, lesson format (in-home or online) and package.
2. How to pay
- M-Pesa — you can pay invoices directly from the student portal using M-Pesa (STK push to the phone number you provide).
- Other methods — any additional methods we offer will be shown on your invoice.
Your enrolment or term is confirmed once payment (or any agreed deposit) is received.
3. When payment is due
Term fees are due before or at the start of the term, by the due date on your invoice, unless we have agreed a payment plan in writing. We may suspend lessons where fees remain unpaid after the due date.
4. Cancellations and missed lessons
- Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice can be rescheduled as a make-up lesson.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are normally forfeited and not refundable.
- Lessons cancelled by us or your tutor will be rescheduled or credited to your account.
5. Refunds
- If you cancel an enrolment before the term begins, we will refund fees paid, less any non-refundable deposit or administration fee stated on your invoice.
- Once a term has started, fees for lessons already taken are non-refundable. Fees for remaining, unused lessons may be refunded or credited at our discretion, taking account of resources and tutor time already committed.
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method (for M-Pesa, to the paying number) within a reasonable period.
6. Payment errors
If you are charged in error or make a duplicate payment, contact us as soon as possible using the details below and we will correct it promptly.
7. Changes to fees
We may change our fees from time to time. Any change will be communicated in advance and will not affect a term you have already paid for.
