From time to time we may wish to take photos, video or audio of lessons, performances or student work — for teaching, progress records or to promote our school. This notice explains how we handle that, and your choices.
1. Consent is required
We will only capture or use photos, video or audio that identify a student with consent. For a student who is a minor, that consent must be given by a parent or guardian.
2. How we may use media
- On our website, blog and social media channels.
- In marketing materials, newsletters and presentations.
- Within the portal to record and share progress (for example, a performance clip shared with a parent).
We will not use a student's image in a way that is misleading or that we would not reasonably expect you to agree to.
3. Your choices
Giving consent is entirely optional and does not affect lessons in any way. You can decline, limit your consent (for example, allow progress recordings but not public marketing), or withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
4. Withdrawing consent
If you withdraw consent, we will stop using the relevant media going forward and remove it from materials we control where reasonably practicable. Content already published or printed, or shared onward by others, may not always be fully recoverable.
5. How we store media
We store and protect photos and recordings as described in our Privacy Policy, and keep them only as long as needed for the purpose you consented to.
